Kindergarden Nimbo

In Esplugues de Llobregat and very near to Sant Just Desvern, Cornellá de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despi and Sant Feliu de Llobregat. 10 minutes from Barcelona.

Nimbo is the dream that has become true of two sisters, actually the owners of the center, one a specialist in education and the other a child psychologist. We base our project on the idea of creating a friendly and cozy environment where children are able to grow up feeling happy, secure and confident. An environment to help them know about the world of adults through experimentation and the development of their senses always surrounded with love and tenderness, very necessary feelings for children.


To achieve this, it was necessary to find a building with natural light and a big outdoors space. Finally we found it. Today Nimbo is a new equipped, bright and sunny construction, with 300m2 garden that makes outdoor work possible as well as keeps the children in contact with nature, earth, trees, sun and rain so necessary for mind and body development. In a future we plan the possibility of offering other playful services for scholar children in order to create continuity with all the kids that take part in our dream.

We understand that first parent-child detachment has to be taken special care of, for both parents and children. From the beginning, we encourage straight and personal attention with each and every family to transmit the confidence and reassurance to leave their sons and daughters where they will receive love and affection. We also consider that at this stage, what is most important for children is to receive as much caring and comprehension to feel the confidence in order to begin the development of their abilities and capacities.

Nimbo is a kindergarden in Esplugues de Llobregat authorized/approved by the Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya. This gives it/us official recognition as a centre and, at the same time, differenciates it from other schools. It also provides parents the security and confidence necessary for (their) children attending a school with approved construction, education and sanitary/health standards.
